To help the presenter, the Toronto chapter of Democrats Abroad, which includes the whole GTA plus outlying cities from Peterborough to Brighton, raise much-needed funds to pay for the midterm election Get Out The Vote expenses, we ask that you donate $20 (per person) to attend.
This seminar is to provide our members a general overview of US income tax compliance issues as well as changes to US regulations. FBAR, PFIC, and the US-Canada agreement will be discussed as well. Although there will be time at the end for questions, this is not a venue for individual tax issues. Please refer all personal case studies to your qualified US tax accountant.
